I Wish I Could Have Shared
May. 12th, 2006 09:12 pmOur beautiful evening with all of you.
We've had fog (mostly high fog) every morning recently. It starts rolling in fairly early in the evening, even though we're in a valley.
Tonight, it turned the sun into a blazing ball of orange. The fog and the sky around it also took on an orange cast.
The temps were around 70. There was the most marvelous of breezes blowing. And, everything was just perfect...in spite of the Friday night traffic.
Once the sun actually hit the horizon, the bottom half disappeared into the heavier fog and it was one awesome, spectacular sight.
I wish I could have captured it on film, but I wouldn't want to carry my camera to sit in the car all day. :)
Anyway, I was gone from 5:30 this morning until 8:00 tonight.
I am very tired and am going to sleep now.
I have words...quite a few, I think. I'm guessing maybe 2,000, but most are still on paper. I typed in 144 and then realized I didn't have the energy to go on.
So, I shall type tomorrow before I start on my Saturday writing, and post my word counts then.
Started a new, very secret story. The reason it's very secret is very secret, too. :)
And, got notes made for Out of the Darkness revisions and revisions on the screenplay, Atonement. Made some notes on new possible names for it, too.
I'm rambling. Time to sleep. Everyone have a good night. Sleep well. Pleasant dreams.
