Gathering Together Word Counts

I've been awfully tired of late and didn't post word counts from Friday or yesterday, so I'm going to gather everything together and post tonight. Kind of a big catch-up.

Then I'm going to sleep, cause I have two big days ahead of me with driving to Santa Ana after dropping off kids and stuff. It's completely the opposite direction, so it's going to mean lots of extra driving.

Anyway, onto bigger and better stuff.

Much...let me rephrase that...MUCH editing/revising/rewriting today. MUCH progress with which I am very pleased. Ancient Secrets now has a completely shiny new first chapter that is much stronger and works much better than the previous one. Woot! Progress that makes me happy.

Taking Some Time Off

I have a lot going on right now and I need to get things squared away, get myself back on track with life and with my writing.

I did really good today. Great frame of mind, writing I wasn't ashamed to admit was mine, progress I was pleased with. However, I realized some things while I was making that progress, some areas that need some work on in my life and in my writing.

So, I'm going to be taking a little time off the writing groups I belong to and a little time off Live Journal, too.

I wanted to wish everyone well before I go. I probably won't be keeping up with my FL for a little while, but only because I need to do some of that solitary writing life stuff.

However, I don't anticipate being gone long. A month at the most. By mid-April, things promise to be a little better. I might even be back sooner.
