I don't know what's wrong, but I just can't seem to do anything right any more.

I wish I knew how to fix it.

I have a million problems to fix now that I'm back at work.

I only took two days off.

People are stupid.

I'm not even going to rant.

That's all I've got to say.

I think I'm going to have to start buying winter coats like I wore when I lived in Tennessee. The past few winters out here seem to be getting colder and colder.

It's March, for god's sake, and it was 37 degrees out when I left home this morning. It's quite windy outside, so I'm guessing we actually have some wind chill factor going on, too.

In southern California??? In MARCH???

Wow. That's some heavy duty cold for southern California.

Got some great snow up in the mountains. I can't believe how low the snow level has dropped.

The mountains are BEAUTIFUL!!!

And, today is sunny. Not a cloud in the sky.

Wonder if we're going to morph back to sunny California again.

What bizarre weather.

That when I got to the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions this afternoon, they were OUT of metformin?

The pharmacist looks at me with this blank look and says, "You've got more, right?"

And, I tell her, "No, that's why I came to pick some up."

So, she says no more until tomorrow. Afternoon.

Okay. Right. So, I'll tell my blood sugar to behave until tomorrow afternoon.

Right.

Sigh.

BUT....

My oldest had no classes today and didn't have to work at the high school, so he made dinner, and I came home to a really YUMMY ham.

Mmmmmm...

Four metformin to tide me over until the shipment comes in at the pharmacy!

Thank you to everyone who offered hugs and encouragement and advice and good wishes today.

It helps just to know you're there. It helps not to be alone.

I love you all. I wish I could help each one of you, personally, as much as you've helped me.

I will, of course, continue to fight. Sometimes, I just feel so tired.

I think I need to cleanse my mind and my spirit. Try to ease out some of the troubled thoughts and replace them with some faith that things will work out and the hope that there are good things ahead. (Not necessarily easy things, but just some good mixed in there would be nice.)

I didn't expect any today, but they came to me tonight and made me happy.

I wasn't productive on Wildfire. The new changes need to percolate in my mind before they assume a final form.

But, the words that came tonight on another novel were ready. They were a pleasure to write.
