A Very Happy Solstice

To those who celebrate!

I hope yours is warm and blessed and full of happiness.

I haven't had much of a chance to keep up with everybody the past week or so because of this crazy training for work and I'm gone so much of the time and half-dead from much driving by the time I get home.

But, I'm hoping to catch up with FL this weekend as part of my rest and relaxation.

I hope everyone is well.

Is everyone okay? Anyone traveling or doing anything special for the holidays?

I'm fighting what I think is bronchitis. Difficulty breathing. Coughing. Horrible pain in the back. This is what it was like when I had it before.

If it's not better by Friday, it's off to the doctor to see what's up.

Only one more day of training. Hooray! Then I'm back to my regular office where I understand "things" have been going on.

Never Let it Be Said...

That there's not a way to squeeze in words in spite of long, horrendous drives.

Not many words. But, words nonetheless and I am pleased to have them.

Slowly, but surely, I am making progress.

And, soon, it will be weekend, and I shall write more. (Aaaaaah, weekend. Now, that's a nice thought. Pity they're too short, huh?) Perhaps I shall give myself that Christmas present to myself...a day to write. That would be nice.

I probably should rest and sleep, though, for next week is going to be crazy, crazy, CRAZY. And, after the driving and long hours this week, it would be beneficial for me to catch some extra rest.

So, we'll see. Maybe extra writing time will wait for week off in March. (I hope I can get a week off in March.) I'm used to having to push my plans back. I'll live if I don't revise and query until the last half of the year. It's not like it's going to make a difference anyway. The longer I have to think on it all, hopefully the better it will be.
