There's a First Time For Everything

But, I'm not so sure I want it to go any further than it did today.

Yesterday, the previous owner of the company I work for (which is in receivership) filed Chapter 11 in an attempt to get the company back. The creditor who sued him and put the company into receivership, is trying to stop him. (For which I am thankful.)

However, it's not that easy. They're going to file FOUR motions (each different) in hopes that one will stop him.

Today, I was interviewed for information to put in one of them. So were several other people. They typed up my statement and I had to sign it.

It was all true, of course. It just makes me nervous to be involved. While the previous owner is normally an okay--though greedy--man, I have seen him go ballistic before...and he has my home address, phone number, and e-mail address...and, of course, knows where I work. Eeek!

What's worse, and what I hope doesn't happen, is that there's a chance I'll have to testify about this in court, too. Double eeek!

Not something to look forward to.

To write!

Took it easy tonight. I was extremely TIRED.

Read a lot...maybe 100 pages in Fool Moon by jimbutcher. Should have it finished in another day or too. I really like all the werewolf detail and there's lots of tension--one thing going wrong after another for the wizard main character--and tension really makes for a great story.

Watched movies on Sci Fi Channel. End of Tremors 3, all of Tremors 4, part of Poltergeist 3. It's still on now, but I'm tired and going to get ready for bed.

Ready for the long weekend.

Ready to start julnawrimo tomorrow. All psyched up to crank out those words.

Woo-hoo!

Going to finish Ancient Secrets this weekend. Then either attack Dawn of Destiny or start converting Beyond the Darkness into a novel.

Also going to start work on a gay vampire romantica for my sister, devinharris. Got to get the plotting done first, of course.

Lots of great projects lined up.
