Damp and Foggy

It's foggy this morning. I love fog and I love looking at it out my window.

I live at the back of the apartment complex and we have a lovely little hill that sweeps up to a housing tract behind us. I can see the fog hanging in the trees up there and around the houses. It looks soooo cool.

It's also damp. Which means my chest is full of stuff and I'm hacking this morning. I love sleeping with the window open unless it gets tooooo cold outside. I like the fresh air while I sleep. But, when it's damp, I cough lots in the morning.

I hope the places with brush fires get this great fog, too, but I used to live in one of those areas and I know it's not really subject to fog.

However, fog often heralds some cooling down, so maybe that'll help. I hope so.

Damp and foggy nights and mornings are very, very cool. When I go up to Soooze's, I love sitting outside in the dark when it's foggy... you can hear the wildlife moving around in the forest and with the darkness and fog thing, yeah it's super creepy. It's very cool.

And then when you wake up in the morning, you can watch the banks of fog moving through the valley across the way. I dig it. :-)
