Hello Journal
Oct. 26th, 2004 09:05 pmIt was a hard day. It kinda leeched all the positive energy out of me. Sigh...
Hard to watch a company with so much potential go down the crapper. Even harder to try to save it single-handedly, but that's what they expect me to do...keep it going and going like the Energizer Bunny while they spend all the money and drive it further down into Hell. Double sigh...
Didn't feel like much when I got home. Didn't have many live brain cells left.
But, after a bath and some nice incense that I got in Pahrump over the weekend (of all places to find two cool New Age stores), I felt capable of writing...crap...but at least it was writing.
Write now, fix later. Write now, fix later. Write now, fix later. Maybe if I say it enough times, I won't feel so bad about writing crap. :)
Anyway, got to call it a night. Kind of an early night. Meant to actually be in bed already, but, obviously, I'm not. Got to have two oldest kids at the high school at 5:45 in the morning! Geez, what an ungodly hour, but they're going to Bakersfield for a field trip...in the rain, no less. Won't that make me feel warm and fuzzy all day???
However, the rain will be nice for sleeping tonight.
And, my youngest son and I will get the chance for breakfast alone in the morning. He always likes that.
Hope tomorrow is better than today.
Beginning of the End 1137 words for the day

And, I'm actually happy to say that I think I really will be finished the ROUGH draft soon...maybe even by Sunday, the last day of the month, like I've planned.
Still got to plan my novel for National Novel Writing Month, though I do have it in my head already. Just want to get some details down on paper to get going.
Also got a WriteEveryDay screenwriting group starting on Monday. Got to write three pages per day for that.
I think November's going to be a very busy month.
