And get it over with???

I can't stand it any more. :(

I got my first two week paycheck today. They tax the entire two weeks as ONE week, which means massive amounts of payroll taxes. (And, I know payroll...and ADP payroll service...so I KNOW there's an option to tax as individual weeks even if you get paid every two weeks.)

My check was $150 less than expected.

I think I'm just going to...

Oh, never mind.

Oh man hon. *HUGS* Why on earth would they set it at the higher tax rating? Payroll goof or your crazy HR lady on the loose again?

You can change your tax exemptions so that less is withheld; single zero is the highest withholding, married 9 is as low as you want to go (more than that can cause trouble with audits.) If you don't make enough money you can try to claim exempt from taxes.

Do it quick before the next payroll cycle is completed!

I have it set at 9. It's just that they taxed two weeks of pay as one week. :(

Oh heck. Yeah, they can do that; yeah, they usually don't. Bad luck. Perhaps your less-than-efficient HR can discuss it with them?
