The LJ writing in private posts yesterday was WONDERFUL. Any time I had a break or lunch or just a minute between projects, I could throw a few words into a post, and it worked really well.

The only problem I had was getting it into the proper format once I copied and pasted it from LJ into Word. It took me a while to take care of that.

I've got a suggestion, cut and paste to notepad first then cut and paste that to word. It sounds like a lot of work but IMO it is easier that messing with format and junk on word :P

oh and I hear you on schools in CA, I went to school in CA for elementary and hs and I never learned any kind of grammer till I got online two years ago at Foward Motion and started getting feedback on my stories. I also am just know learning proper punctuation thanks to my online friends. I informed my husband that when we move back to CA the children ARE NOT going to go to ANY public school. They will go to private or will be homeschooled. {{{huggles}}} I feel your anger. Hope the boys get it figured out. Of

I often use LJ as my dinner napkin to hastily scribble on.

to get it to word, I copy from LJ, go to word, and choose Edit > Paste Special > Paste as plain text.

Then snapping it into SMF is like three clicks.
