BEAUTIFUL!

queenoftheskiesI just remembered something I intended to post about on Saturday, but in all the rushing around and being tired of the day, I forgot.
I was sitting at a traffic light, and I had a most beautiful visitor at my open car window.
It was a fabulous dragonfly, the likes of which I've never seen before...or since...and I see a lot of dragonflies. They seem to like it around here at work.
This fellow was the most beautiful shade of royal blue I have ever seen. He fairly glistened in the sunlight. His body had an almost jeweled quality. His wings were much smaller than I'd expected.
He only stayed a minute or two and was gone before the light changed. But he was quite cool and lovely to look upon, and he brightened my weekend greatly.
