Long Overdue
Sep. 15th, 2005 08:47 pmWell, I only got a minimum of words written today. Not enough to even bother plotting on the graph or mentioning. Maybe 122 words. I might add more later. Might not. It's close to time that I need to consider sleeping. (Which translates to: If I start getting ready for bed now, I might get to bed by 10:30.)
Anyway. I abandoned my writing (reluctantly) to clean and to search through some boxes for a card I need to take to Toyota with me tomorrow. My daughter's definition of cleaning is to take things and put them in storage boxes. (Magazines, school papers, Mom's mail!)
My car needs a factory adjustment, according to Toyota, and this gets it for free. So, since I'm taking the car tomorrow anyway, I wanted to have that done, too.
But, the problem is that, once I start cleaning, I can't stop. So, things look pretty, but my writing suffered.
I also spent some time scrubbing carpet and the bottom of a file cabinet where Malik whizzed. Periodically, he marks things. Then he's good for a long time. And, then starts again.
So, everything smells of cleaner, I'm tired, and waiting for youngest son to come out of the bathroom so I can get ready to sleep.
I'll write more tomorrow. And, weekend is coming up.
Hooray for weekend! Hooray for having meds! Hooray for getting my car all maintenanced tomorrow!
(I wish I had as much energy as that line above alludes to. I substitute exclaimation points for energy.)
