Took Me This Long to Realize...

That not all of the dogs I hear barking every night are dogs.

I listened more closely a couple of times last night when I was awake because some of the sounds sounded far away, and I realized what I was listening to was coyotes. D'uh.

I've seen a couple in the area and even seen a pup that was hit on the side of the road. :(

But, sheesh, we must have a bumper crop of them this year, and I'm not even particularly close to the mountains.

Kinda cool in LA, huh?

Oh that's way cool. I think coyotes are cool animals. Regardless of how other people think of them.

Go get you a coyote pup and raise him as your own!!!

I miss hearing my coyotes. It's not fair that you have them in LA, and just a li'l bit of construction has chased them away from Pahrump. :(
