Ants, Cats, and Not Sleeping

Last night was definitely not a night for sleeping and I feel like poop this morning.

We've been invaded by ants once again. Scores of them, not just a few. They appear to be coming through the sliding glass door that leads onto our balcony, but no amount of spraying has stopped them thusfar.

The apartment complex has been painting the buildings over the past few days, and I'm sure that's probably what has driven them inside. It's very strange because we have no food sitting about. They're just coming in and congregating.

However, because of the spray, I had to keep all three cats shut in my bedroom last night. It was hot because no air conditioning could get in and the cats were very unhappy about being shut inside. So they griped and bickered and complained ALL night.

Very strange. I hope we can get rid of the ants soon.

You could make models of your home town and film the ants crawling all over them. And hey presto, instant B Movie. Then perhaps they'll be so embarassed that they'l leave. Or you could try something that'll actually work. Poor kitties.

ants are difficult to get rid of. And yucky. I hate bugs.
