ICKY!!!

The old owner was in here today for some personal property. He was, of course, properly supervised at all times, and I didn't really have to see him...though I did hear him at one point.

The gentleman that was supervising him told me that he tried to blame the company's problems on everyone else...including myself and the MIS Manager. And, pretended he didn't know about a lot of the things that went on. This man went on to tell me he just laughed at the old owner...to his face.

But...sigh...the worst thing, I guess, is that the old owner said he and some business partners were going to make an offer on the company.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been doing so well handling all this. Now, I think I'm just depressed. :(

*hugs* Are you sure your old owner and my current owner/bosses aren't related? Here's hoping they fail in getting it back, for everyone's sake.

I'm hoping that the people who were running it for the past month or so get it. They're still trying and they have until next Wednesday to make things work.

Right now, though, I'm it as far as employees go. Alone in the building with the security guard, except for when folks from the Trustee's office drop by.

Let's just say if they'd just lay me off, I'd probably die from the relief of not having to come in every day. But I keep coming back, because if I didn't, the 25 people I help keep working currently would be out of a job and I am not yet to the point where I could face myself in the mirror if I leave them to the bosslady's "tender" mercies.
