Good Morning, World! It's Friday...

The mere word alone is enough to fill me with hope.

Looking forward to the weekend. Going to get some rest (yeah, right...ha, ha, ha). Going to write. (That one's a given. Will probably do that INSTEAD of rest.) Going to go to the grand opening of a new store in Pasadena that carries anime, Japanese movies (live action and animated, swords/weapons/mock ups, cosplay stuff. Should be fun.

I always enjoy my Saturday morning "Mom time". Go out to breakfast alone, read, write, plot. Always leaves me rather refreshed and recharged.

Then, of course, there are the errands and grocery shopping. Bleh...

Had some hopeful news over the past day or two. Not going to post about it yet, or I'll jinx it. But, that bouncing ball that is work and life might be going UP again. Fingers crossed, in any case.

I'm watching some things going on now, hoping that this time next week, I have something great and wonderful to announce.

But, it's too early to tell for sure yet.

Thx for asking. Yeah, I might get a teaching position at the college I work for. Even if I don't, I can demonstrate that I made an effort to preserve the employment relationship (a key factor in getting unemployment benefits after quitting for "good cause.")

Sadly, they didn't have pocky. Or much cosplay stuff. I was disappointed.

However, check out http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com. They have TONS of flavors of pocky.

I think I just need to get a sewing machine and make my own cosplay stuff. Yes?

I love cosplay, too, but the place I went to didn't really have anything. :(

I think I'm just going to have to break down and get a sewing machine again and make my own stuff. Especially for AnimeExpo next year.
