Okay, time to look back at my July goals, even though I didn't meet them. I still feel like July was a good month and that I made TONS of progress in my writing.

JULY

Finish Ancient Secrets (novel)
Finish Shadow of My Heart (novel)
Continue working on Wildfire (novel)

Good Ole Boys (short short story)
Ancient Secrets (novel)

I think I'll give them one more pass before I send them out into the cold, cruel world. :)

I did not complete any of my goals for the month of July, but I really don't feel any degree of failure for two reasons: 1) I made a lot of progress anyway, and 2) There were some really bad things going on as far as work and the sale of the business go. I'm pleased just to have kept working instead of hiding in a hole somewhere. :)

Having said that, I do feel like I had some accomplishments for July.

So, to summarize:
I wrote a heck of a lot of words for the month of July
I started on the synopsis of Ancient Secrets
I started a new erotica novel

And, I learned a heck of a lot about:
Constructing a novel
Constructing my series
Trusting myself as a writer
Committment and persistence
Writing schedules that work
I can accomplish almost anything I put my mind to

All in all, I guess I can't complain. :)
