Lost Day

Okay, I'm officially declaring today a lost day so I don't have to push myself tonight and stress to perform. :)

There were more than a few big bumps in the work road today. Enough that I'm pretty wiped physically, mentally, and emotionally.

So I declare tonight rest and recharge and just be generally LAZY tonight.

Which means word count goal for the day is set at only 1,000 words. I can do that over the next few hours and still be lazy. :)

Sometimes, you've just gotta do what you've just gotta do.

Don't you just hate it when you can't... "perform?" LOL...

Sometimes you have to take a night away just to put some juice into your batteries... we need lazy days now and again.

I'm glad you're not being too hard on yourself about it. You're right... we have to do what we have to do sometimes. And it sounds like you needed it.

Yeah. It probably wasn't even so much that I couldn't, because I did end up writing quite a bit more than I said I was going to.

But, work had just drained the life out of me that day and I had to give myself permission to slow down if I needed to. :)
