July Goals

Decided I was going to take a look at the goals I'd set for myself for the month and make a few tweaks here and there based on what I accomplished in June and how things appear to be lining up for the month.

So, here goes. This is what I'd like to accomplish for July.

JULY

Works in Progress
Finish Ancient Secrets (novel)
Finish Shadow of My Heart (novel)
Continue working on Wildfire (novel)

Edit/Revise:
Spilt Milk (short story)
Good Ole Boys (short short story)
Ancient Secrets (novel)

I think I'll give them one more pass before I send them out into the cold, cruel world. :)

Good Ole Boys (short short story)

Marketing
Research markets for Spilt Milk and Good Ole Boys
Write synopsis for Ancient Secrets
Write synopsis for Shadow of My Heart
Write synopsis for Wildfire

You know, I think that's going to keep me busy.

I'm nervous about submitting. For some reason, it's a lot more nerve-wracking for me then when I was submitting screenplays. I don't know why.

I have yet to write a novel synopsis. I got pretty good at synopses for screenwriting query letters, but those are so much SHORTER than novel synopses.

So many people talk about hating them that I'm feeling a little intimidated. :)
