When It Works, It Works

Some days, things just really seem to fall into place in a story.

I passed 125,000 words today, and I'm still not finished. I have this wonderful new story thread working its way through the novel after the scene I wrote last night. I think it will really beef up and support an existing thread that was not as strong as I'd liked.

I also know that there are sections that will be cut and changed to make room for some of the new material.

But, I think, for now, I'm going to have to up my rough draft word count estimate. Maybe by the end of the day and the close of writing, I'll have a better estimate of how many words I need to add.

Boy, this is GREAT. :)

when you're writing well, yeah, it feels really good.

I've been writing more than ever these past couple of months and I'm pretty proud of the stuff I wrote.

I did have a couple of stories prewritten (i.e, in the pipeline so to speak) and they came out fairly well. I think I'm actually physicallly writing more which helps.
