Good Things Happen in Threes

And, it's barely after 7:00. I still have the rest of the day to look forward to. :)

First, in spite of the goons that woke me up at 3:55, I determined I'd have a good (if not kinda sleepy) day. The new, more positive me. I guess the positive writing has dribbled over into other aspects of my life, too. (Can't complain with everything going on...helps to have some positive thoughts.)

So, I went to Denny's, since I was up already, for a $4.99 breakfast special. Thankfully, I could afford that. There was sooo much food that I brought half for break. And, with leftovers for lunch, I'm set for the work day.

Second, I got my paycheck around 6:30 and discovered it was enough to pay rent, plus $100 left over. Woo-Hoo! (I wasn't sure how much it would be, cause they insisted on taking out MORE taxes than I had taken out here...it's an employment agency that we have to work through for the receiver until the new owners HOPEFULLY take over.)

Thirdly, I didn't have anything to do first thing this morning, except keep myself busy, so I wrote 1,237 words between 6:00 and 7:00. What a great start to the day! I'm so pleased with myself. I'm not going to push myself today cause I have the whole weekend to write, but I hope I can at least double that by the end of the day. That would be a great start to a long weekend. Also a great start for julnawrimo. I'd like to stay ahead in case I have a problem day somewhere throughout the month.

Ancient Secrets 1,237 words so far today

I have no clue about total word count, since the full tile is at home, but it's over 117,000 words at this point. :)

I can only do 2-3 pages an hour.
Oh, well, glad I have my day job:)

How much I can write in an hour totally depends on the mood I'm in and how focused/distracted I am.
