queenoftheskiesMy fax line has gone out again. I fear my modem line is soon to follow.
Both went out around 11:00 or so yesterday and the phone company couldn't figure out WHY because the regular phone system and all lines attached to it, worked.
But, all fax lines and any outside modem lines (we have two in accounting--one to transmit payroll to ADP and one because we don't want anyone from the network cracking into the financial info on MY computer--and the owner has one) crapped out. Very strange.
And, of course, the person responsible for the phones isn't in yet. He's taken to coming in around 10:00 or so and leaving early. I was soooo upset with him yesterday for just taking off. I had a serious fax emergency and our whole building was fax-less.
Eeek!
