queenoftheskiesTook the kids out to breakfast this morning. That was fun. We don't really have the chance to do it much any more since I work so much and/or they're running off a million directions with school and friends.
Went to the bookstore. More fun. Got some great genre magazines to try to get in touch with what's going on in the genres I want to write.
Got a great 2005 calendar already, too. Japanese gardens. BEAUTIFUL calendar. And, inspiration for the novel I'm going to start for National Novel Writing month. It's set in Japan and even though I can't actually get there for research until after the first of the year, this is a good start.
I should definitely have Beginning of the End finished by the end of the month and then I'll switch to Cataclysm until November, when I start the next novel. I'll let Beginning of the End sit a month and then hit it for edits and rewrites.
