I've Created a Monster

The kids are going insane over homemade quiche now that I've finally gotten off my butt and made it.

So they wanted quiche for breakfast this morning. I got up a little arly and made it.

I do have to admit that it makes for a good start of the day having something hot and satisfying.

But, I'm really tired.

Hope I wake up as the day progresses.

Maybe next time, try making it the night before and fridging it. It's not quite as good nuked the next day, but it's not half bad.

I love quiche, it's a failsafe easy supper when I can't think of anything, or I just have scraps. I always keep pie shells in the freezer and some cheese, so that if I'm all out of ideas or stuff, I can just throw a quiche together. Just about any leftover veggies or meat can go in...it's a great way to use up leftovers.
