I didn't have the energy to post last night.

Had a flat on the way home from work. It took 45 minutes to change the freaking thing because I couldn't get two of the lug nuts off. Well, obviously, I did FINALLY, but it took a long time.

Then, I had to stop and get a tire. $105+ later! Eeek!

Anyway, I was two hours late to pick up [livejournal.com profile] manga_queen where she goes to college, took a friend of hers home, picked up boys, and then had to take oldest to where he goes to college for his night class.

By the time I got home, it was around 7:30.

I wasn't feeling well. More exercise than usual and nothing to eat since noon and no nightly med yet. BAD combination.

Bathed, ate, took med, and left around 8:00 to pick up oldest from night class. (It takes about 30 minutes to get there and 30 minutes back.)

So...all the words I have for yesterday are what I wrote before work yesterday morning.

hang in there. Flaty tires are the bane of my life. If everything is going well I look at the tires wondering when they will go. I also carry a mini air compressor in the van just in case. {{hugs}}

take care. And don't skip your meds young lady ***shakes finger*** My mother (just diagnosed with diabetes) does that. one more day then thanksgiving and rest.

I have more than my share of flat tires, too! Because I drive a hybrid car, the hybrid system in the front is heavy and so tires wear faster.

I'd been watching the tires lately. This one developed a bubble on the side that popped. Luckily while I was at work. I came out to find it flat. That's better than being on the road.

Actually, I didn't skip my med. I'm a VERY good diabetic, which is why I'm in such good health...other than the stress and exhaustion thing. I just am supposed to take it with food and since I was out with no water and no food, it got pushed back a couple of hours.

And, I could tell the difference. More from not having food, actually. I'm good for more than a few hours without the med.

How is your mother doing with just being diagnosed? I know it's a huge change for some people and it's hard.

Have fun writing today!!!
