Taking a Little Longer Than Expected

My turkey STILL isn't ready.

I think it must have still been frozen inside. He was a pretty big boy...21+ pounds.

It's already been cooking over two hours past the estimates the wrapper gave and while it's looking better, it's still not quite there yet.

Well, maybe within the hour.

Whenever it's done, it'll be good.

Do you have a meat thermometer in the bird? The temperature can give some clue how soon it will be ready. Personally, I like cooking fresh organic turkeys the best.... they cook quicker, in my experience.

21 pounds is a large bird! Are you feeding a crowd? Or just getting all your cooking for the week done in one shot?
