Not Even Kitty Hugs Can Make Today Better

I know cause my kitties have tried. My kids too. Hugs from manga_queen, dinner from youngest. Oldest is still at night class.

It was just that bad of a day.

In fact, I can't remember the last time I had one this bad.

At least I started out the day optimistic.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Off to take a HOT bath and see if I can get any words out after everything that happened today.

I don't want to bore you with a whole long list of stuff, but I'll tell you the worst things.

Kaiser has been screwing me over for the two months they've been my insurance at new job. Both months, they've told me they had trouble getting one of my meds, that it was in short supply. Both months, I've had days without that particular med. It's for blood pressure and there can be side effects for stopping it suddenly.

Anyway, I called in the refill on the 11th. As of today, still no meds. Today, someone was finally honest with me and told me they won't get it because it's NOT ENOUGH PROFIT FOR THEM!!!

I had to switch my prescription back over to Sav-On and pay without insurance. But, Kaiser took off one of my refills even though they didn't actually fill it and they transferred it as 60-10 mg pills instead of 30-20 meg. Without a new prescription, I can't prove it. I paid $52 for the meds.

$52 I didn't have, so now I lose my cable cause I can't afford to pay it. Sigh.

THEN...on the way home with kids, a Sheriff stopped me. He came up to my window and told me he'd stopped me cause my tags expired February 2003. I very nicely handed him my DL while I was looking for insurance card and registration and told him my tags expire in June and that they'd been renewed.

He got nasty with me and stalked off with my DL.

When he came back for my registration and my insurance card, he brought a radar gun with him and told me he'd made a mistake, that my tags weren't expired and that it wasn't expired tags he stopped me for, but SPEEDING!!!

There was NO WAY IN HELL I could have been speeding as I was locked into traffic with cars all around (he was in the OTHER lane, several cars behind) and everyone was going the same speed.

So, I have a ticket for something I didn't do and he LIED. He flat out LIED and scared the crap out of me with his intimidating attitude.

And, that was just the end of my day.
