Ear is no better. Sometimes, it seems worse. Sometimes, it seems about the same.

Throat hurts now, too.

I've decided the culprit of all the owies is definitely a sinus infection. One side of face feels like it's going to explode, hurts to the touch, and eye is icky, gooey. Congestion, too.

Sinus infection.

Gosh how I hate them.

I get paid on Friday, so I can go to the doctor this weekend. Got to get rid of this thing. It's hung on long enough.

Anyway...

On the dreaded Sinus Infections -- I haven't actually had one in several years now, cuz my dad's doctor gave him an old-time remedy to get rid of them without doing the whole anti-biotic routine, and Dad passed it on to us kids. It's rather unpleasant, but darned if it doesn't work. You just mix up salt and baking soda (don't quite remember the proportions... 1/2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of baking soda I think), but I can find out for you) in 1 cup warm water, and squirt it up your nose with a nasal syringe. Then you blow it all out. Apparently, the salty fluid kills the sinus infection. I don't know how it works on a full blown nasty one like you've got, but I do this every time I get a cold and can't breathe, as sort of preventative maintenance, and not only does it help you breathe again, but no sinus infection. A lot better than getting laid up with one.
