Anyone hanging around home this weekend?

Anyone interested in a writing marathon? With a goal either of your own chosing? Or a pre-determined one if people so desire?

Any interest?

Huh? Huh?

I'm still recovering from my nine-day marathon, to finish SORCERY AND THE SINGLE GIRL :-)

Good luck, though, structuring your own! Go, go, go!

Ooh, I ought to. But my bf is visiting... Maybe we can figure something out and allow me a mini-marathon.

how about http://www.3daynovel.com/ :)

I haven't been doing much writing these past months, really want to get back into it. So I will bring my neo on a car trip, and maybe get in some writing on sunday :) Everything is better than this inertia!

I'm seriously thinking of a revisions marathon this weekend.... with a goal to finish pen and paper revisions of Mysterious Paris.

Well, I'm writing this weekend but I'm just working with my simple 500 daily word goal for Habit Builder. :)

I'm visiting via [livejournal.com profile] gategrrl. I was talking about organization, backstory, and binders for the original fic I'm working on as I need to get organized. I'm one of those people that scribbles ideas as they come everywhere and on everything. Since I am writing obsessed, I thought I would stop by and take a peek.

I think a writing goal is a fabulous idea. Setting goals is the first step in getting anywhere, isn't it?

Well, to motivate me to actually write something, I joined an LJ community called Deathless Prose (sorry, too lazy to look up how to hotlink it). A story is due by midnight on the 3rd. I haven't written a single word yet.

I would if........

Unfortunately, I'm going to be working on at least two of those days.

But more than that, what I'm really working on (this month) is consistency; getting small amounts of things done every day (except Wednesday, when I have both work and school and trying to work writing in there is just asking for frustration) instead of a big honking chunk of writing over three days and then nothing for the next couple weeks.

Once I've re-developed the consistent habit of writing (two months, I think it's supposed to take) I'll think about trying to bump up production.

Just in time for NaNo. Eep.

Wish I could but I'm studying.

Maybe after the 20th....
