I Don't Remember Noticing This Early Before

At least not in August.

That the days were getting so much shorter.

Maybe it's the fact that the summer has been so hot and that I'm so anxious for Fall...which is always my favorite time of the year.

But, I'm having to turn on the lamp on my desk around 7:30 or earlier now, when it had been 8:30 or later only a month ago.

And, this morning, when I got up at 6:00, it was still dark, where it had been light at 5:30 not so very long ago.

This morning, we have fog and low clouds and there's actually a cool breeze TRYING to come in the window.

Nice. Maybe Fall WILL come after all.

I was noticing that yesterday myself. I think it was because it was cloudy & rainy, but it was really *dark* when I got up! I've noticed in the past couple of weeks that I have to turn on the lights and lower the shades earlier, too. As much as I love the cooler weather of the fall, I miss the long days!

You know, I've noticed something like this too. That fall is coming earlier. Maybe it's merely intense desire?

I'm more of a summer fan, though I do love Halloween and Christmas:)
