You know, the short weeks are wonderful, but they're the hardest, too. Whew!

I'm glad it's Friday! How about you folks?

What are you ladies and gents up to? It's been hard to read through my LJ this week cause I've been getting home late. The drive has been taking longer than usual and I'm usually gone 12-13 hours of the day.

Plus, there's been some school stuff going on with my youngest, too, so even less time at home.

This was a hard week at work, so I'm doubly glad it's over.

Bad insurance news. More expense, and it was already expensive already. Eeeek!

Bad boss lady stuff. That's par for the course.

But, after day there's the weekend off. One more week and then she's on vacation for two. WOO-HOO!!!!

Two weeks without her!

I've discovered an alarming tendency I'm developing to feel like I'm going to doze off during my drive home. Could be the heat. Could be the not enough sleep catching up with me. I don't like it; it's scary.

Anybody got any big news? Or even little news?

Or anything you're going to do this weekend?

Or anything you're writing on?

Or anything you've learned/discovered about writing?

Or just anything you want to say?

Hope everybody has a good day!!!

I took today off, so it's already the weekend for me. :-)

My husband and I will be going to an out-of-town festival theater to see a dress rehearsal of The Crucible, then staying at a B&B. So nice to finally relax! Hope your weekend goes well.

Try to get some sleep this weekend if you can. It sounds to me like you need to recharge your batteries.

My sister just bought a house, so I'm taking the kids on a road trip to help her pack, move, and rip up old carpet on the weekend.

I'm trying to get myself into another project, after finishing my first. Any tips on getting started on something new after the novel is done? I'm guessing this isn't a problem for you.

For the drive, I'd recommend having something to drink or eat in the car. I take sips of caffeine on long drives, one every minute. It keeps me awake. Sometimes just leaving a high stress environment makes me sleepy on the drive home. Eating or drinking really helps.

and sleeping. I'm just glad I'm down to three teaching days before exams.

Hope you can also catch up on your rest.

*hugs*

have a good weekend!
