Friday at Last
Apr. 21st, 2006 05:39 amWhew. Thank god. I didn't think it would ever get here.
I may have mentioned this last week (I can't remember cause my brain cells die horrible deaths each week.), but I think I die mid-way through the week. Wednesday nights, maybe. And, then, by the time I get up on Friday morning, I realize it, and I wonder if I can make it through the day to actually GET to the weekend.
Which doesn't make for a prime condition to enjoy life, of course, and will have to be corrected as soon as possible.
Perhaps the problem is that, while I've had to let some things slide, and I have much less time to write, I refuse to let some things go completely (like writing) and instead of resting, I try to still get the necessities and the things I won't let go of done...instead of resting, resting, and more resting, which might help me survive until the end of the week.
This morning, I feel like I was hit by a truck...or something. I'm hoping some food and some soda or tea will help, but I'm not holding my breath. What I need is more sleep and some time off work to relax.
I think that isn't going to happen soon.
However, today is bagel day at work, and the many varieties of upscale bagels that are brought in are lovely. Mmmmmm.
Anybody got anything exciting going on this weekend?

Date: 2006-04-21 03:41 pm (UTC)As to exciting things planned for the weekend... well, I'm getting my vegetable garden rototilled. Heh. I just threw out a whole chapter of my present work-in-progress and I think I might ask the landscaping guys to rototill my brain as well. Maybe then something fresh and new will grow.
Have a good weekend.......
