FRIDAY!!!

Woo-hoo!

You folks doing anything special for the weekend?

Mine is open so I can crash and burn, but I'm going to go see my son's play tomorrow night, too, and I'm hoping to crank out some serious words so I can get up to speed on Phantom Song. Back brain seems to be working on it in spite of working and driving and all. So, it would be nice to get those words into the computer.

I wish Fridays meant something in my life. :)

Working today, working most of tomorrow. There will be laundry and dishes and sweeping of floors, and if the writing gods are kind, I'll find enough brain cells to write a poem and revise some novel pages.

Rejoice in the words that you're getting every night. Right now you get as many per day as I'm managing in a week. Good for you. :)

No huge plans here... just a friend's birthday party and then the usual family stuff on Easter. Wanna trade? A nice crash and burn weekend sounds pretty good right now....

Today I write; tomorrow we all go see oldest at her base; Sunday we finish celebrating second child's birthday (it was the 7th, but all these delays kept happening).

As to what I'm writing, I'll probably stare at my short for a bit, then my novel for a bit, but we'll see.

I'm gonna spend some Saturday night and most of Sunday in the park at the Bob Marley Festival. My brother scored some backstage passes through his job, so we should be living the fat life. Drinking free beer, eating free food, and being able to stand in the stage wings for supercloseup involvement with the bands.

Pretty much a perfect April weekend.
