Fingers Crossed! Fingers Crossed!
Mar. 29th, 2006 02:41 pmTwo great and wonderful interviews today!
I was in the zone, personable, knowledgeable, and people took me seriously!!!
What a wonderful feeling.
All in all, very positive.
The first interview was with an agency. I was there almost an hour and a half. No testing from this one. If you're a professional, this agency figures they should take you more seriously than putting you through a battery of tests. They figure that references, when it comes down to it, can verify a candidates skills.
Spoke with two recruiters. They have a nice position lined up for me to interview with after work tomorrow.
Woot!
However....
The second interview for the company I saw yesterday went like a dream. It was a phone interview with the CPA partner that handles their account and set up their cost accounting system.
I don't think there's any way it could have been better. It was PERFECT.
He was going to call the controller and report his feelings after we hung up. If it's a yes, then there's one more hurdle to get over, and that's the president of the company.
Hopefully, I'll find out this afternoon or tomorrow morning about the outcome.
Fingers crossed!!!
Now, off to the high school for report card night and teacher conferences.
Woo-hoo!!!
