There was a BIG accident the other night out on the street my apartment complex fronts. It was so bad that whoever was involved completely destroyed a BIG, metal, set in concrete box that houses phone lines for this area.

Needless to say, we've been without phone service (AND INTERNET...WAAAAA!) since the accident. The phone company has been trying to restore service, but said it probably wouldn't be on for everyone (apparently it was wiped out over a LARGE area) until Wednesday.

Lo and behold, we got a little ring on the phone about an hour or so ago. Maybe a little longer ago than that. The phone was working.

HOWEVER, it's still off as much as it's on. It does come on in spurts, though, and I've managed to get a couple of small e-mails out.

If I owe you an e-mail, you'll probably get it from me at work tomorrow, unless they get this wrapped up tonight. The way it looks now, I doubt it.

I've promised several people at OWW reviews, and I'm going to try to get those posted in between disconnects, if I can. If not, they'll start showing up on the workshop tomorrow, cause I can post from work.

In the meantime, I'm going to try to get a line again and see if I can get this posted. I don't now if I'll be able to post word counts later or not.

I haven't been hugely productive this weekend because of some health troubles, but I do have some counts to post and hope to get those in.

Fingers crossed for phone service!!!
