We have rain!

Rain rocks!!!

I hope it lasts all day! It's a great way to start the weekend. And, no, not all southern Californians agree with me. LOL.

What are you folks up to for the weekend?

Not much for me. Staying close to home cause it's a broke week thanks to rent. :)

Going to attack my usual stuff...writing, reading, reviewing/critiquing for groups I belong to.

Would like to finish Pawns of Destiny and/or a big chunk of rewrites/additions for Wildfire. That would be great progress.

Rest. Rest would be a great thing too.

I'll probably play hours of Dragon Quest VIII. I have Angelo now, so my party is complete and I'm ready to get on with the game.

I am gardening. And writing. And... well, more of the same.

However, tonight I am hanging out with friends and watching movies, so that's alright.

Also, broke weeks, as annoying as they are, can be nice. They're good for staying home and resting. I usually go to the library on Friday and find a book I haven't read yet -- at least that's free!

Some of us work hard for that rain. It's difficult to sleep in the day without it... and graveyard shifts are intolerable without it keeping the methheads at bay.

Finish reading the Prince of Nothing books, mostly to tide me over until the new Dresden, Discworld, and Weather Warden books are out. Finish the fifth chapter of the third book in the series I'm working on, and plot out the next thing a little.

Oh, and sleep. Sleep would be nice.

Writing. And dinner at the parentals on Sunday, because they haven't seen us in a week and think we don't eat if they don't feed us. *grin*

Now that both Dreams and Treaty are finally starting to flow, I'm hoping for a monster weekend, word-wise. If I'm lucky, I might manage 25k.
