I Was Going to Sleep Early, But...

I wrote some more...after I thought I'd stopped for the evening.

Oh, well, it's still earlier than I usually sleep.

Got through some more important scenes today. I'm winding up to the big events...which are pretty much already written. There are just areas that need to be connected and fleshed out.

I'm tired of continually upping my projected total for this novel, so I'm picking a bigger total and then not changing it any more.

Just be careful and take care to let the story unfold itself. If it needs to be bigger, let it be. Sometimes, you just have to let the story flow. Hang in there you. :-)

Oh, definitely. I quite agree. What I meant was not that I was going to stifle it, but that I was just going to pick a word count I didn't think I'd go past instead of just upping it a little bit every time.

LOL... I wish I had that problem right now. The good news is that getting back into school has got the juices flowing again and I've gotten the itch to start writing again. So maybe I'll have some actual words to put down. :-)
