I Didn't Expect to Be So Productive...
Jan. 7th, 2006 11:19 pmSince, for the most part, I was feeling pretty poorly today.
You know, it doesn't seem fair that I feel like crashing and burning on weekends just because I've tolerated a lot of stress during the week. But, that's often what happens and Saturdays are crash and burn days, while Sundays are often rising from the ashes days.
I did grocery shopping and errands and all the crappy stuff this morning. Took a nap this afternoon. Not a long one. It's hard when you're twisted into a pretzel because cats take up half the bed and have you all knotted up so they can sleep where they want to. But, long enough to help some.
However, I've had this godawful headache ALL day, and it's got me ready to scream.
In spite of it all, I accomplished, which makes me very proud.
Mostly, I'm proud of the fact that I did FIVE (count 'em...F-I-V-E) reviews for OWW!!! Now, that's probably not very impressive compared to what most of you who are members turn out on a regular basis. For me, that's quite an accomplishment, and it makes me very happy.
Hooray!
I didn't really start writing until almost 7:00 tonight and ate dinner and watched Naruto and e-mailed my sister, too. So, I didn't expect to get much done. I've written a little more than my goal several other days, so all I really needed to keep the 2200 word/day average was around 700 words.
However, I stopped for a bath and came out with a renewed charge on my imagination and ended up turning out MORE than my daily goal in spite of everything.
Hooray again!
Tomorrow, my oldest son and I are going to Disneyland to use up the last day on the tickets that my sister and I used when she was here. (It's payment to oldest son for watching her cats and dogs while she was down here.)

If everything keeps going the way it's going, I might actually finish this novel within the 125,000 words I have alotted. That would be soon...and soon.
I'm going to finish my (sugar free) hot chocolate and head off to bed. Got to get up early tomorrow.
