Good Start For a New Year

queenoftheskiesHad a great LAZY day today. Since I stayed up until around 1:30 or so last night, I slept in until 10:00 this morning, though kitties did wake me up a couple of times before then.
Opened the window (in spite of the chill) and listened to the rain. It was never hard, but was very pleasant.
Watched some TV. Mostly cable.
Cooked a ham and biscuits and blackeyed peas for dinner. Yum!
Wrote.
I think I'm going to try to keep track of daily, monthly, and yearly running totals on word counts, unless it becomes too cumbersome.
Tomorrow, I shall work on devising strategies for my other 2006 goals since I don't have to work. Hooray.

However, I have started revisions on a novel that's not in my HUGE series and might have a chapter to post on that soon. I'd posted the first chapter once before, but then took it down before it was critiqued. Maybe I'll start all over again now. :)
