The Little Treasures

As of late, my area of SoCal, and that in which I work, has been blessed with what some areas call "June Gloom", only, obviously, it's not June yet. It's been cooler than usual (normally high 60's to mid 70's) and overcast most of the day.

Yesterday, it crept up to 80 and was humid, which wasn't as pleasant, but, hey...

Along with these gray days has come surprise rain showers overnight. Quite frequently, really.

Occasionally, they linger into the morning, which is greatly enjoyed.

I woke this morning to another overnight shower. The ground and cars outside my window are delightfully soaked.

I know a scorching summer is just around the corner, but I'm really enjoying this weather right now.

Heh... we're the other way round. We've had the warmest May in over 129 years and June has been scorching so far as well (for Denmark that is) - but we know our usual wet summer is probably just around the corner.
