I May Be A Victim of Voter Fraud!!!

Well, I got to my polling place tonight, and I was NOT on the roster. I had my voter’s card in one hand and my ID in the other, so they had to let me fill out a provisional ballot. However, they don’t HAVE to count my vote, according to the poll workers, who were VERY nice. I was given a receipt to call in 40 days and find out whether or not my vote was counted!!!

I am furious because my son and I went down to the LA County office to register him and change my address on my voter registration at the same time. On his form, he chose NOT to declare his political party. I marked Democrat on mine.

He WAS listed on the roster to vote. I was NOT!!!

Now, maybe it’s all a coincidence, but after hearing about all election fraud, I have to wonder!!!

The friend I mentioned in my LJ today is also in CA (about an hour north of L.A.); she wasn't the only one she knew with that problem, either.

I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised after everything I've heard in the news, but I must say I am seriously disappointed that this happened.

I wanted to believe that the voting scams wouldn't extend here...especially since CA pretty much always swings Democratic. But, wow, it did.

I never expected to be hit personally by all of it, especially by something so OBVIOUSLY wrong. If my son hadn't been involved and had no trouble voting, I'd probably have thought it was just a simple mistake.

Live and learn, I guess. There's a lot more dishonest people out there than I realized.
