Early Morning Ramblings
Oct. 23rd, 2005 08:40 amI love mornings like this when I can sit with a purring kitty in my arms (though it makes it difficult to type), with all the kids still asleep, and enjoy the fog clinging to the little hill behind the apartment complex.
Great morning to relax.
Sadly, I'm out of green tea. (I like the Tazo Zen green tea.) Otherwise, I'd be sipping on a cup of that right now. Guess I need to get myself out to pick up some more today. If the store is out (Albertsons has started carrying it), I can always run over to Starbucks to pick some up.
Hurt my knee at jury duty the other day, and it's stiffened up pretty badly. After a day at the mall with my daughter yesterday, it doesn't want to move much.
But, oh, we had so much fun at the mall. I'm not usually a big shopper, but we did have a good time, and that's what counts. I even picked up a couple of Christmas presents already and saw lots of things I want to get people for Christmas. That's a start.
I think I'm going to take youngest son out to breakfast this morning. He's doing really well at school and involved with a lot of good things, and I told him we'd do this soon. I think maybe today shall be the day.
Then, I'll come home and work on finishing Dawn of Destiny so I can get back to plotting on Xanali. I am getting sooooo excited about it that I can't stand it. I've never had anything take on quite this much life just in plotting and I think, if I get it finished during NaNoWriMo as planned, that I'm going to edit it first, before the other novels I've completed, maybe setting it aside for 2-3 weeks and then attacking it during the Christmas holidays if there's time.
Everyone have a lovely day. Wow...isn't it great this close to the holidays?
