Life is Filled With Little Cool Things
Oct. 15th, 2005 08:35 pmSometimes, little things really make a day.
Like cooler weather today. It only hit around 79 degrees here...instead of almost 100 degrees like the past few days.
It was beautiful today and the air was fresh and clear.
The clouds rolled in late this afternoon, looking all menacing over the northern mountains and then all beautiful pinks and grays when the sun set.
It was 64 degrees when I came home from picking my daughter up from tutoring...around 6:30.
And, the moon was almost full and lovely to behold.
I found Country Crock (no cholesterol) cinnamon butter tonight. I have Splenda on hand and can make cinnamon toast now. :)
I found SUGAR FREE cinnamon rolls. The Pillsbury kind in the tube.
There's a Godzilla movie on at midnight.
My kitties have all been sweet and cuddly and baby Malik is lying on my bed on his back with his pretty tummy belly up, his paws up in the air, sound asleep. He's soooo CUTE.
We had some RAIN just a little while ago. Not much, but we're supposed to have more over the next few days. I can't wait!!! LOVE the rain!!!
And, I might actually hit 1,000 words tonight and finish this scene and be ready to move on tomorrow.
I spent part of my afternoon reading QnI submissions so I can catch up on critiques, so I didn't write as much as intended. However, there's always tomorrow. So, I ain't stressing it. :)
