Maybe It's a Conspiracy?
Oct. 5th, 2005 09:06 amI've been working with the HR lady (not the one that just got back from maternity leave) in Santa Ana to try to take care of the insurance snafu for everyone here at our plant.
The excuse this time was that there was a miscommunication between the underwriter and the insurance company. I don't believe it (for reasons I won't get into here), but that's what they said.
So, for THREE DAYS now, they've supposedly been entering people and each day, I was told I'd get a list of ID numbers for all the employees here.
I'm not the only one who has needed insurance. One man needed to get his son into the hospital, and had no insurance. One lady's husband has pink eye and can't go to the doctor. I heard other folks asking about insurance, but didn't hear their individual case stories.
Today, she called to tell me she'd e-mailed me the list. Hooray! Insurance at last!
Right?
What do you think?
The list only has seven people on it. They've only entered SEVEN freaking people.
I, of course, am NOT on that list.
The man with the sick son, thankfully, is.
The lady whose husband needs to go to the doctor, is not.
Sigh.
