Unexpected

This morning, youngest son was sick and couldn't make it to school.

Oldest, who was going to go work with the AcaDeca team he coaches, bowed out, too, due to much pain from wisdom teeth.

That left just me...and I didn't have to leave at the crack of dawn to get them there since they weren't going.

So, I was left with an extra 40 minutes this morning to edit, which was an unexpected pleasure. I never have my mornings so free any more. It was nice.

Of course, while kids are out for the holidays, I'll have some free mornings and hope to get much accomplished.

The Cats Sat at Attention Tonight

They were so captivated with our dinner.

I bought crab legs at the store, marked down for quick sale. I got over two pounds for like $5 - $6.

We'd ever fixed crab legs before.

Oldest son steamed them and, OMG, were they good.

They were so FULL of meat.

And, the cats sat in a semi-circle around us, not even begging, but entranced with our food.

We shared, of course. Kitties were in heaven.

We were in heaven.

It was DELICIOUS!
