Squee! Squee! Squee!

There would also be screaming except that my neighbors would probably think something bad was happening.
I got my feedback from the assignment I turned in last night, and he LIKES my idea and my assignments I turned in. He has no changes for them, no corrections, and is interested enough in my idea that he asked me honest-to-god questions about it.
I'm soooo EXCITED.
I dreamed of this, hoped for this.
For, as you all know, who have been reading my LJ for long, the ideas that make up this universe are as near and dear to my heart as anything could ever be.
I have spent many years developing the entire universe, the backstory, the histories and religions and socio-economic relationships between worlds, the mythos that joins everything together...even some of the phsyics elements that make the dimensions and the magic and what little tech I use work.
And, as he pointed out in the feedback, the screenplay aspect of this idea (I haven't told him I'm novelizing it, too.) is all in the execution and the ability to answer the right questions.
HOORAY!!!!
I'm happy.
And, also have written around 1,100 words this morning, too...BEFORE the feedback.
Good start to a great (though probably hot) day.
Right now, youngest and I are going to breakfast. Then, it's back home to write, write, write!
