Seriously, Seriously...

I am going to have to get DSL.

I had an EIGHT hour download going overnight. I know that around 3-4 hours of it had already downloaded before I went to bed.

It got disconnected during the night.

Ain't that sad?

I must start it over and hope it completes this time.

Filled With Encouragement

Many, MANY thanks to those of you who offered encouragement to my "lost" post last night.

I'm just not in the flow like I used to be. (Though, the other night, I really was and it brought me great joy.)

But, I'm a writer and I write the days that the words flow and the days that they don't want to play, I drag them out kicking and screaming by their little toes. At least they're on the paper and I'll convince them later, that they really did want to come out and play.

Thank you for being my LJ friends and for being there. :)

And, now, off to breakfast...and then work...and then to drag more words out whether they want to play or not.

I'm Not Sure Why It's a Big Deal, But...

I'm stuck on a title.

Normally, I have no trouble choosing titles...or at least coming up with working titles and changing them later.

This time, it seems more important. Why? Well, because of...things. Things that are going on in my mind. Visions, if you will. Visions of the story, visions of my plan for the story and where it falls in my universe.

I also have something else I want to do with this story. Something that amazes me and surprises me. Something that I'm trying to talk myself out of.

But, we'll see. The images in my mind persist. They grow stronger.

And, I'm developing some interesting new plotting ideas. I'm quite pleased with the results today.

Perhaps, I'll switch around some titles I've already used. There are at least three that would fit my new novel, if I can think of titles that would fit the other novels better.

Hmm...

I've never had THIS much trouble before. Interesting.
