Kitty Kisses

I love my kitties. I'm sure you folks could never tell. :)

Today, when I came home to change (after my job interview) before I went to work (cause if I'd gone in a business suit, they'd have figured things out), Malik was watching out my bedroom window and saw me get out of the car.

By the time I was upstairs and opening the apartment door, there he was waiting for me.

Tonight, when I got home, there he was again.

I picked him up to give him big kitty hugs and he gave me big kitty kisses (three big licks) on my cheek.

I love my kitties. And they love me, too. :)

The Verdict

Thanks to everyone who sent their good wishes about the job interview! I appreciate your kindness.

Jury is still out on the job.

I went to the agency first and was there an hour or more.

Went to the company next and was there for an hour or more.

Needed to talk to another person at the company and they kept waiting for him to come back...but he didn't. So, there's talk of me going back Friday afternoon or Monday afternoon to see him.

The job is pretty close to home. People seem okay. Job seems okay.

Here's the problem. It would be temp to perm. Not that I mind temp to perm, BUT...

I can't get a committment from the agency as to how long they think it would be temp.

Which means...

No insurance of any kind if I go temp.

No paid holidays of any kind if I go temp.

I have a physical scheduled for June 7. Memorial Day is coming up. 4th of July is coming up.

Decisions. Decisions.

I guess if life was easy, it would be boring, huh?

For now, I'm waiting to see what happens.
