Ewwww

Tonight, we had chili that I bought at Smart & Final. Maybe it was their brand. Maybe it was an off brand. Either way, I bought it because it was cheaper than the other brands.

Never again.

It was nasty. Tasted like coffee grounds. Bleh.

Made it Through the First Day

The morning drive wasn't as bad as anticipated. (But, that COULD be because of Spring Break in parts of the southland.) Evening drive not as good as morning drive.

In all, I was gone from 5:25 AM until 6:00 PM. Not as bad as I'd expected, which is a good thing.

But, still, it was tiring. There's something about driving that does that to a person.

Or maybe it was the fact that I didn't get to eat lunch until 1:30. I get very, very tired when I don't get to eat on time.

Tomorrow, I'm going to have to make sure boss lets me eat on time.

Everyone was nice to me. Boss was nice to me. She was thrilled that very little explanation was needed for anything and is looking forward to passing things along.

I still managed a few words. Hooray! I had worried that the drive and new work might keep me from progressing, but not yet.
