Gathering Up Energy For the Day Ahead

It never fails that when I get stressed and sick, I also end up not being able to sleep either. For two nights in a row, I've awaked in the middle of the night and not been able to do anything but toss and turn and sometimes doze.

I can feel my brain getting deader and my body dragging. Thank heavens tomorrow is Friday. I don't think I could drag myself through too many more days.

And, tonight is one of the nights my oldest son has Calculus at night, so it'll be a late night getting home.

Anybody got any extra energy to spare? :)

Skunk 1, Coyote 0

On the way home from getting my son tonight, we were getting ready to drive into the hills, when we smelled eau de skunk...and it was quite STRONG!

No sooner did we catch a whiff than a young coyote came trotting across the road looking none too happy, his mouth hanging open, tongue lolling out.

I think he got the bad end of the deal!

Almost...

It's almost Friday. Hallelujah, I couldn't make it much longer.

Made progress on novel. Finished what I think was the hardest part of the book. Got a lot done. Need to move some scenes this weekend from this one to Xanali. I don't have the energy for it tonight.
