However, this morning I gave in. Had to give it a try.

Maybe Some Things Just Aren't Meant to Be?

Went into work today. They wanted us to work 9:00 - 2:30 today...and only get paid for that. Okay, no problem. It's still money. And, paid at our regular rate.

They said no accounting until the receiver finished whatever they're doing for the court. Okay, no problem.

They needed help with purchasing (they didn't ask that person back) and knowing what to ship, what would bring in the most money, what customers to contact. Cool, I can do that. I even found $220,000 they could get out this week and got the supplies they needed to ship a $20,000 job for $223. Pretty good for a day's work.

1:30. They call us all into the conference room. We knew something was wrong.

The receiver never got liability insurance before they called us back. Nothing can be shipped. They wanted operations ceased immediately.

Supposedly, they're working on getting liability insurance. Could be a couple of days. Could be a couple of weeks. Could be never.

Do you guys believe that some places are just cursed?

Back to Being Productive

Hooray! Hooray! I love being productive.

I plotted another chapter on Ancient Secrets today. I've got 19 chapters done now, plus the one I still haven't written down, so 20 total. Hooray! Will hopefully plot more tomorrow.
